These were some random ones I did of the trains at Union Station

Cowboys & Horses-- a special place in my heart

It could possibly be because we always had horses growing up, or because much of my childhood was spent watching John Wayne. Either way.... I am not an animal person, but I LOVE horses. There is something so majestic about watching a horse trot and gallop along. Here some stick horses I made and some photographs I've done with horses and cowboys.

From buckin' Broncs, to Lipizzaners. I just can't help myself.

All About Holiday Crafts

This Halloween wall hanging was made with papers and chipboard letters from SEI, as well as cat-eyes in varying colors to ink the edges. If you've never heard of them before visit their website at www.shopsei.com. You will fall in LOVE with their papers.

I often feel that Thanksgiving is lost in the commotion of trying to find the perfect Halloween costume and the hustle and bustle of Christmas Shopping. So I made this cute little candy dish also with SEI papers and googly eyes. Both the Thanksgiving and Christmas projects you see are made with the paper mache boxes. I like to buy the box sets because then you have a bunch of different sizes and can build your projects from there. Instead of making several trips to the craft store when you have a single project in mind. The turkey one was made with a 4"x3 1/2" box.

These three stackables were made with 7" x 6 1/2", 6" x 5 1/2", 5" x 4 1/2" paper mache boxes. I actually painted these ones instead of using paper.

The Snowman was made using White paint, buttons for the eyes, orange felt for the nose, and two sticks from your nearest tree for the arms, hot glued on.

The Moose was made using Golden Brown paint, large googly eyes, and dark brown felt for the nose, ears and antlers. You will also need red ribbon for the bow and two Popsicle sticks. the Popsicle sticks are used to make the antlers remain stiff.

The Santa Claus was made using Red Barrel paint, and either a cream colored paint for the face. You will need red felt that matches the paint, and a small bag of large cotton balls. Make sure to pull the cotton balls apart slightly to help them blend.

All elements were adhered to boxes with hot glue.
